Our clients' customers can order a gift card Christmas Eve, and give it away that very night. Electronic gift certificates use the same in-house program that all of our cards and certificates use, the moment the certificate is presented for redemption, the eGiftworks™ search engine checks the secured number to check for any duplication. Once it has been established as the original certificate, it is redeemed. If a copy is presented later, the eGiftworks™ program will reject it stating that it has already been redeemed.
